There are several difficulties to test pumping wells with sucker rod pumps, electrical submersible pumps (ESP) or progressive cavity pumps (PCP). Testing pumping wells by removing the pump from the hole is quite expensive and not practical. SIAM Company provides a cost-effective alternative to test pumping wells without packer based on acoustic well-sounding techniques.
