Since August 1 the analytical division of SIAM company in Izhevsk, Russia completely switched to interpretation in Siam Well Test software.
With this software application the company provides services of engineering and analytical support and data processing of hydrodynamic well tests for oil company Udmurtneft PJSC — the biggest oil firm in the Udmurt Republic.
The transition to Siam Well Test was gradual and planned. Specialists kept all well-established production processes and technological chains that were built over the years. Today with the help of our software oil engineers of the Izhevsk analytical centre interpret monthly more than 50 complex hydrodynamic well tests during the summer peak load.
We would like to thank our colleagues Kirill Suslonov, vice director of the Engineering and Analytics, and Sergey Isupov, head of the Automatisation department, for their work and help at every stage of transition.
Also, we would like to point out that the branch in Krasnodar switched to Siam Well Test too, and now interprets the data of oil company Baitex LLC .

Transitioning to the Siam Well Test will make Russian oil companies independent from the international market and will ensure their stable work. According to Kirill Suslonov “if foreign companies revoke their software licences, we’ll still be able to continue interpreting the data, and it won’t harm our customers”. Besides, developers of SIAM company can change and adjust software functions at any time to satisfy customers’ needs.
This summer Siam Well Test was included in the register of Russian software that will allow our company to increase its presence on the Russian market of software development for the oil industry. We are proud to say that Siam Well Test is an important step in ensuring the independence of Russian companies.

As SIAM press service stated earlier, high professionalism of company specialists and close cooperation with our partners helped us to create a software application that became a worthy replacement of foreign analogues that is even outperforming them in some cases.
In addition to strong import substitution potential, specialists highlighted modular design of Siam Well Test which allows flexible control over the application functions. Sergey Isupov pointed out that in the future the company plans a seamless synchronisation of the software with other products produced by SIAM. This will make user experience much easier.
This autumn the company plans to release an update — Siam Well Test 2.0. It will have a new interface, design and extended functionality. At the same time the central division of SIAM company will switch to this software.
Siam Well Test is an important addition to the product family of SIAM that will allow us to broaden the spectrum of provided goods and services for our customers.
