A Visit to a Key Site

On August 27, Vladimir Borisovich Krupenikov, General Director of Gazpromneft-Zapolyarye, led a working trip to Area 3A of the Urengoyskoye oil and gas condensate field (OGCF). The main purpose of the visit was a detailed analysis of the progress of pilot operations using advanced mobile units, as well as a discussion of plans to expand production capacity.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held between Vladimir Krupenikov and Ruslan Nailyevich Kasyimullin, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Siam Master LLC branch in Novy Urengoy. The parties discussed in detail the operation of mobile separation units and the condensate stabilization unit. As Ruslan Kasyimullin noted, the delegation's interest was focused on the practical aspects of the equipment's operation. «Vladimir Borisovich was interested in the current process of well fluid treatment. We presented the 6A03 Mobile Oil and Gas Treatment Unit (MUPNG) to the delegation and explained its operating mode in detail,» he explained.

The Value of Mobile Units

During the meeting, special attention was given not only to operational efficiency but also to the strategic value of mobile field development technology for geological exploration. Mobile units provide the flexibility that is essential for accurate reserve assessment.

«The use of mobile units allows for a more comprehensive geological and productive understanding of the deposits, which reduces the risk of their overestimation,» emphasized Ruslan Kasyimullin. «Another key advantage is the ability to adapt to changing conditions. The units can be upgraded by adding or removing specific modules to suit particular geological and field conditions».

Next Step: Strengthening the Partnership

Following the inspection and discussions, representatives from Gazpromneft-Zapolyarye praised the organization of the work and the quality of the services provided. «They wished us to 'Work Safely.' Overall, the representatives of Gazpromneft-Zapolyarye LLC were pleased with the quality of the services provided; no negative feedback was expressed,» shared Ruslan Kasyimullin.

The meeting resulted in defining clear prospects for the partnership's development. The parties outlined concrete actions to maintain high production rates. According to Ruslan Kasyimullin, the plans include scaling up this successful experience. «A priority was identified: the construction and launch of the second KP-5A32 unit at the Urengoy Oil and Gas Condensate Field by early 2026,» he summarized.

This decision confirms the success of the pilot project and the companies' intention to actively use mobile technologies to develop new sections of the field.
